Tips to Maximize Your Listings

Description: Your property description should clearly inform potential guests about your property while also inspiring them to imagine themselves staying there. Include information about the layout of the home, available bedrooms, and any special features you offer. Don't forget to include local area information to help guests make informed decisions.

Amenities: List all of the amenities your property has to offer, such as a pool, hot tub, or beach access.

Photography & Video: High-quality, professional photography is essential for selling your property. Use a tripod, wide-angle lens, and natural light to capture the atmosphere of each room. Inject your personality into your listings to make them stand out.

Branding: If you're a property manager, include your branding information in the listing description to make a strong impression on guests.

Area Features: Always include information about the local area near your property, including restaurants, parks, events, and other fun things guests may be interested in.

Guest Relations

Inquiries: Promptly and professionally respond to guest inquiries, including all necessary information for the booking process.

Pre-Arrival Communications: Share a thoughtful email in advance to share local events or attractions that interest the guest, and provide all necessary check-in information.

In-Stay Service: Be attentive to any questions or issues that guests may have during their stay and work promptly and professionally to improve their experience.

Post-Stay: Thank your guests after their stay and ask for a review.


Social: Promote your property for free on social media and in relevant travel groups.

CVBs and the Chamber of Commerce: Check out local visitor bureaus and chambers of commerce to find new opportunities for promoting your listing.
