Tips to Add Your Photos

Follow these simple steps to quickly add your photos:

Photo Guidelines:

• Only use photos that are high resolution and 1024 x 768 pixels
• No logos, text, or watermarks are allowed
• You must own the photos, or have permission to use them

How to Upload Photos

• Go to the Host Dashboard
• Click Listing section
• Select Details on the listing that you are going to edit
• There's a photos tab on the left navigation
• You can add photos here, and also link to hosted videos
• If adding a video, use the URL to a publicly hosted video, and click Save Video Settings

• All photos and videos will be reviewed by a HereStays support team member prior to publication on the website

Adding Photos

• Click inside the photo area, and select the files from the prompt box, or you can drag photos directly into the photo area
• You can add up to 10 files at a time
• The upload time will vary based on the file size
• Maximum file size is 2MB
• You can drag and drop photos to change the order

Photo Tips

• Always use landscape orientation on photos
• Portrait orientated photos will be automatically cropped and will not display the full image
• Use a professional real estate photographer if possible, photos sell your listing
• Use a tripod
• Be sure there is plenty of natural light, and turn on all interior lighting in each room
• Take photos of each room, and in large rooms from several angles to fully represent the space
• The first photo of your listing should be the very best photo, as it is the one that shows on the listing results page and you'll want to entice the guest to visit your listing page
