Charming House
"House is very charming and as shown in photos. Beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are great. The kitchen is well supplied. The checkin information did not come 72 hours before arrival as stated, i emailed and asked for them 24 hours before check in. The instructions for the keyless entry are wrong and we did not have a way to call the manager/owner to gain access for over 20 minutes until we figured it out on our own. The street is very busy even during the night. If you are a light sleeper take this into consideration. The house across the street is questionable, had traffic coming and going during the night and at one point there was lots of yelling, banging on doors and shortly there after the police arrived."

First, it was a pleasure having you stay with us and we hope to have you come back and stay with us again in the future. I apologize for any inconvenience that you went through during the check-in process and during your stay. I did take a look into your reservation audit trail and do see the check-in instructions did arrive to you via email as discussed on Tuesday, May 4th at 6 PM, three days as promised to your arrival. Sometimes these automated emails can go into spam folders and get missed. Looking further into your audit trail, we did inform you 24 hours again prior to your arrival that the instructions had been sent and we resent them to you again. Furthermore, when you arrived at the property, you contacted our team via a message and not a phone that you still could not find the instructions for check-in at 6:20 PM and our team responded to you promptly at 6:23 PM with your same access code to access the house. We also checked our system and there was no phone call from you to our team. Additionally, the code provided to you was the correct code for your reservation. Either way, we were happy that our team did get you into the house in less than three minutes. I understand smart locks and automated emails can be tricky, especially if not used to using them on a daily basis. Regarding the street, this is the first time we've ever heard complaints about this being a busy street. This is a street several blocks back from the hustling and bustling main street with nowhere near the same amount of traffic. Furthermore, this street is typically quiet and not heavily trafficked, and I apologize if you had a different experience here. This is a very safe area and fully remodeled luxury historic home with the City of Fredericksburg. Additionally, it is next to a small and well-known church and next to another famous and historic bed and breakfast. Across the street, each home of the past few years has begun rehabs and renovations bringing these amazing pieces of architecture back to life. Furthermore, many are vacation rentals across the street. As a precaution, I have contacted the city informing them of this review and the potential nuisance that you experienced across the street. For full transparency, this has never been reported, nor had happened before, and makes me think it could have been another vacation rental and a potentially rowdy group.
